Job Description:
The Web & Applications Specialist plays a key role in the full lifecycle management of enterprise applications at the university. This includes system analysis, development, integration, testing, quality assurance, and reporting. The specialist is responsible for Oracle Fusion ERP, Banner SaaS, the university website, and various administrative applications. The position ensures seamless digital services that align with institutional goals, enhance operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and application configurations.
  • Manage, support, and enhance Oracle Fusion ERP modules including Finance, HR, and Procurement.
  • Oversee the configuration, integration, and maintenance of the Banner SaaS Student Information System.
  • Maintain and develop the university website, ensuring functionality, content accuracy, and accessibility compliance.
  • Design and implement application enhancements, system integrations, and workflow automation across departments.
  • Coordinate software development activities including coding, customization, testing, and deployment.
  • Conduct system and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality and functionality prior to go-live.
  • Monitor system performance, resolve technical issues, and coordinate with vendors for escalated support.
  • Develop, generate, and maintain analytical reports and dashboards for various departments and decision-makers.
  • Provide user training, technical documentation, and ongoing support to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security standards, data governance, and best practices in system administration.
  • Participate in planning and execution of system upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve digital services and user experience.
  • Document processes, system changes, and operational procedures for internal knowledge management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in enterprise applications support and development.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP and Banner SaaS is required.
  • Experience in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS), SQL, APIs, and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, QA processes, and change management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, Agile).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.
